i cant get the first wall jump in the game to work - cant get high enough up the wall to get back to the next platform... what am i doing wrong ?
Holding (space button) down gives you more height :)
I love your game but there is 1 slight issue when you jump on the clouds and try to climb up using space you climb onto nothing hanging onto air. It might be hard to fix but just pointing this out:)
Thank you for your feedback. This is an known issue and is going to be fixed in future updates :)
Also may I know the minimum computer specs for this game to run optimally?
Like the visuals, love the music, love the gameplay so far. I only have some issues with the controls. It does not play really intuitively for me. It feels weird that jumping and 'up' are different keys.
Playing also feels kinda unreliable. Grabbing on to ladders and ropes doesn't always work, you're not always sure if you land on a platform or grab on to the ledge, making you shoot over because you have to keep left/right down to grab on to a ledge, etc .... climbing up a ledge with space feels less intuitive than it would've been with 'up'.... It's all little things, but they make playing less enjoyable for me.
Am gonna continue though because I love the game itself so far, not really far in yet and I'm stuck at the level after the first potion. But that's for later. Have to do other stuff now :)
Not stuck anymore, like the clever combination of using walljump and dash to get up there. However, also found another annoying thing. When you jump towards a low platform, like the one right from my cursor in the screenshot, Sean hangs from it but ends up hanging in the floor below and dies.
Also think it's weird that you die when you run into the wall at the beginning (start of the dark level) of the level or for instance hit the ceiling of a level.
Sorry, just entering everything I notice here, even though this game has been released a year ago :) You can press 'W' to enter a door, but you cannot use 'up', while you can use both to climb up a ladder, for instance. I personally would like to just use 'up' for jumping, climbing and entering doors.
Thank you for your feedback. Some of these things you mentioned are known issues to me and i am trying my best to fix them in future updates. Also i'll be adding customizable controls in future too so no worries. The wall that kills you at the start is an temporary solution to prevent people from skipping half of the starting level and in future i'll try to make the wall just unclimbable!
Kudos for responding so quickly to comments on a game you released so long ago :) It really is a good game, especially when addressing some of those issues it's a real solid game.
